What's In My Birchbox? - February 2014

Time certainly flies, I can't believe it's that time of the month again! No, not that time, beauty box time! First one to arrives was my Birchbox. I've only been subscribing to Birchbox for a few months now but I've not been disappointed, I don't know whether it is because they always get it spot on or the extra item, either way I'm very happy. It could also be the exciting March news they included in this box, it must be for my birthday!

So what did I get? For those that don't want to spoil the surprise I've put it after the cut along with their exciting news!

Beauty Protector Protect & Oil 10-15ml (guesstimate) (Full Size: £16 for 118ml)
This item is my partners favourite, he only judges things by the smell - of course this does play a huge part in my judgement of a product although I'm thinking about how it will smell when using it not just in the bottle. My hair needs something, it's a bit dull and any items I've tried haven't really livened it up so I'm looking forward to try this properly.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner 1.2g (Full Size: £12 for 2g )
I love eyeliner so always happy to try something different. I have had an Eyeko eyeliner in a previous beauty box however it was dry so I never really got to try it. This is a mini version of a full sized one which I actually prefer as I find most eyeliner pens dry up very quickly, plus I can carry it around in my handbag.

Modelco Party Proof Lipstick in Get Naked Full Size 3.8g (£15.50 for a set of 3)
I LOVE matte lipsticks so I'm rather giddy about this. Usually I go matte for dark lipsticks not nude but I'll try most things once. I'm excited by this colour as I've just about worn out my MAC Creme D'Nude and this is a similar shade, although a bit darker and more beige. I'd love to try the other colours in this set! I'm sure I'll feature this again at a later date.

Urban Veda Radiance Daily Facial Wash 20ml (Full Size: £7.99 for 150ml)
I love Urban Veda, I'll have to get round to buying some other products as I've only tried samples. If I was thinking just like my partner I'd have to say this is my favourite scent. Now I can't make my mind up whether to try this before I try the Nip+Fab DIY glycolic peek kit or after, it smells so good I think I'll be trying this out within the hour!

Gilchrist & Soames The London Collection Shower Gel 45ml (Full Size: £13.75 for 236ml)
Another gorgeous scent, I've had a trio of them this month. I do have a stack load of shower gel to get through but it's always handy to have something new to try.

Lifestyle Extra

Green & Black's Dark 70% Chocolate Mini bar 30g (Full Size £2.29 for 100g)
Well this is one item I'm not interested in, I can't stand dark chocolate although I do love Green & Black's chocolate. Fortunately I have their butterscotch version in my goodies stool, it has been there for a couple of weeks - I can resist every so often. Plus I don't mind giving my partner James the odd treat from my beauty boxes and I much prefer it to be chocolate than my new hair oil that he has his sight set on.

Another great box and even more exciting a slight hint about March's box.......
