What's in My Glossybox? - December 2013

I don't think this is usually the case but both the beauty boxes I subscribe to arrived within a day of each other! I have been slightly disappointed with the last couple of months boxes but the December box has convinced me to stick with it for a while longer.

So what's inside?

Beautiful Movements Cosmetics Nude Lip Gloss 4ml (Full Size: 8ml for £12.00)

A beautiful natural pink/nude shade, perfect for daytime. Thick consistency to this lipstick which is always a good sign, I always find that the thicker glosses are more colourful and last longer. This lip gloss is all natural!

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Razor Full Size (Full Size: Razor with one set of blades £6.49)

Until I received a free Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk razor this year I was using a basic two blade razor - seriously. In the past I hadn't been that lucky with razors and the two blade didn't irritate my skin although it also meant my hair would start to grow back the next day. I'm looking forward to trying out the Naturals razor which is infused with Vitamin E and 100% Natural Aloe.

Maybelline New York Volum' Express Colossal Smokey Eyes Mascara 10.7ml (Full Size: 10.7ml for £7.99 )

In the 90's I went crazy over the legendary Great Lash mascara by Maybelline, I think the UK was in a frenzy for this. Now many years have passed and I've had a few mascara from Maybelline but I've not stuck with any that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to this, I love my Illamasqua Masquara and Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD mascara but a good cheaper one is always handy for work.

Seche Nail Lacquer in Irresistable 14ml (Full Size: 14ml for RRP £9.95 - currently £4.03 on Amazon)

I'm a nail varnish addict so any freebie I love. Any online photo of this shade in the bottle makes it look rather pink but I think it is more of a red shade with just a hint of pink/purple. I did just throw it on in the photo above, I could have been neater. A beautiful rich, christmas-esque shade, perfect for the party season. Dried in reasonable time and looked super smart on.

Yin Yang Skincare Rich Skin Food 2 x 2ml sachets (Full Size: 50ml for £19.50)

I have yet to try this out, I tend to put sachets on my bedside table to try or in my holiday box.


Well I'm pretty happy with this months goodies, 3 full sized items - mascara, nail varnish and the razor. Really there is nearly 4 as the lip gloss is a great size, only half the size of a full one so I might actually manage to use it up. I'm very happy with this months box, now I'm already thinking about January!
