Sunday Weigh-In: Getting There

My weight is back down to where it was before I started my exercise, I still don't consider that a loss but it is still good. Yesterday was the first day of my period so everything is slightly off right now including my appetite. I don't know whether it is the poor weather or the increase in exercise (possibly the exercise) but I've been so hungry recently - unfortunately I haven't been eating the right things. I know I always say a little bit of what you fancy is fine, it is, but I just want to munch everything bad in sight. I need to eat a little more with all the exercise but I need the majority of my food to be great choices along with some slack, fun choices.

Now I just want to focus on the positives. My steps have increased and I can now say I do at least 70,000 steps a week. I've managed to increase my steps at the weekend, not quite to 10,000 a day but a lot more than what I was doing. I've started to get out of the bus home from work a stop further away than I usually would.  This Saturday I actually went out for a run, well walk/jog, baby steps for now but I'll get there.

Sunday the weather was glorious, a big change from the torrential rain, so we went out for a lovely walk. Just a quick hour but it helped, instead of going on about that I thought I'd post a few photos instead.

Another excitement from this week is new exercise gear, new cheap exercise gear from JD sports. The crop top is amazingly comfy and supportive for £8 and the pants are amazing for just £12, I think I need an extra pair. This week I'll be making sure my partner James picks up some trainers for running too, the same pair as me - we'll be matching :)

Short term

Exercise - I want to  get to a point where I do over 10,000 steps a day, next goal will be 77,000 steps a week.
Food - I want to find more ways to fill myself up - the real problem time is the end of the afternoon/beginning of the evening, I walk home from the bus, before I exercise I can be quite hungry and tend to eat silly stuff. Less fun food, more filling stuff.
Goals - I want to be more toned and fitter so I can run further.

Long term (still the same)

Exercise - I want to be able to work out more and have a variety of things to do. I want my weekend to be the time of the week when I do the most steps not the least. I want to be able to lift more.
Food -  Nothing much here, I'd like to be able to eat more cake though.
Goals - I have a pair of trousers from Joseph that I used to wear all the time when I was in my early twenties, I still have them and love them so I would like to fit back in them along with all the gorgeous dresses I have.

    1. Thanks sweetie, it was one perfect day, shame it hasn't lasted. Nothing beats walking in the winter sun - when it's dry of course! xx

  2. Congrats!
Today I tried a few pairs of jeans and in 2 of them I can fit, they are a bit stretchy. I used to wear size "S". I was so happy. :)
It would mean the world to me if I can go back to my initial weight.
I am eating clean but I take some pills which ruined my weight.

    1. Thanks sweetie. I won't dare try on any of my old trousers just yet. I'd love some jeans but I don't think I could find a comfy pair, I think getting a really big size would be disheartening too, I'm a strange shape :( Congratulations on the jeans, at least one of us can wear them! Xx
