Ciaté New Year Frost Nails

Well my enthusiasm for doing anything beauty related at the moment is dwindling, not because I've lost interest but as our boiler conked out on New Year's Eve keeping warm has been the priority. Although we have no central heating and the temperature outside is super low I do believe it could be worse, although I am wearing three fleece tops I just had to do my nails.

When I decided to do my nails yesterday I couldn't stop myself from going for a cold look, I wonder now whether I should have gone for a warmer colour, maybe over the weekend. I also didn't want to do anything neat, warmth is needed to do anything neat and I have to concentrate at the best of times. Choosing only from the bottles in the Ciaté Mini Mani calendar, I went for two light coats of pillow fight on the base, a grey with the slightest hint of lilac, a great day to day colour itself. Then, as I'm still off work and consider it the holidays I wanted to jazz it up a bit so I messily used two coats of fit for a queen, a chrome silver, on half of my nails. I wanted to add a little more sparkle so also added, just over the silver, one coat of confetti, an iridescent silver glitter.

Now it's not exactly a fancy look but I like it!
